GALLIPOLI TOUR ( Daily / Full day )
Early morning pick up from your hotel. Drive to Gallipoli making a lunch stop on the way ( Approx. 4 hours 30 mins. drive one way ). Upon arrival, visit the Kabatepe War Museum which is located within the Gallipoli Historic National Park. There is an exhibit of photographs of soldiers, their uniforms, weapons, and other findings from the battlefields.
Anzac cove is a small cove on the Gallipoli peninsula. It was the landing site and main base of Anzac’s during the World War I.
Lone Pine, with it’s sweeping views over the Aegan and down the Gallipoli peninsula, is where Turks and Anzacs fought and died. Lone Pine name was given to a solitary tree which marked the site of the Battle of Lone Pine. There is a cemetery and memorial dedicated to the Australian & New Zealand soldiers who fought in Gallipoli.
Chunk Bair Heights is one of the three high points on the Sari Bair range. These were the main objectives of the Anzacs’ offensive of early August 1915 when they tried to break out of the stalemate with the Turks in the Anzac sector.
